This policy explains what personal data Gus collects, why, and how it is used. Gus is operated as a UK business and this policy is written to meet UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are

What we collect
Depending on how you use the site or product, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us, such as name, email, phone number and company name, when you book a call or get in touch.
- Booking information passed to our scheduling provider, Calendly, when you book a call through our site.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site working properly.
- If you become a customer, job and property data you or your connected systems provide, such as data from Commusoft or Jobber, used only to operate the product for your business.
Why we collect it
We use your data to respond to enquiries, arrange and hold booked calls, operate the product for paying customers, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Booking calls
When you book a call through our site, your name, email and any details you provide are shared with Calendly to arrange the appointment. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data during the booking process.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and booking data only as long as needed to respond to you or maintain our records, and customer data only for as long as you remain a customer plus a reasonable period afterwards required by law or good practice.
Your rights

Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the data we hold. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep data safe and only accessible to those who need it.
