If a proposal has arrived from HEYGUS LTD and you are checking whether we are real, this page is for you. Everything on it can be verified.
HEYGUS builds AI agents and custom automation for businesses that run on jobs, vans, engineers and paperwork. Trades, field service, installation, maintenance, logistics, hire, and plenty that do not fit any of those words.
Most automation software is a catalogue. You choose from a fixed list, and if what you need is not on it, you are told to change how you work. Real businesses do not have catalogue problems. They have specific ones, built up over years, usually with good reasons behind them. We build around those instead.
Occasionally a problem turns out to be common enough that the thing we built for one business is worth offering to others. Gus, built for UK trades engineers, is the one that has gone that way so far. Everything else stays with the business it was built for.
A background in robotics and intelligent systems: an MSc in Intelligent Systems and Robotics and a BE in Mechatronics, then work as a robotics engineer and as an AI instructor.
That background matters less for the letters after it than for the habit it builds. Robotics is unforgiving about the gap between how a process is described and how it actually runs. The interesting part is never the algorithm. It is the twenty things nobody mentioned because they were too obvious to say out loud.
Which is most of what this work turns out to be. Sitting with the person who does the job, watching where the day actually goes, and building for that rather than for the tidy version in the process document.
